<p>I've been putting catalogs on doors for my AVON business then doing a reverse address look-up and calling them back to see what they would like to order. Out of 100 I put out a week, maybe 1 person orders. Is there a better way to do this? I also leave catalogs at all the local restaurants, beauty salons, nail salons, etc. How else can I get my catalogs in the hands of those actually interested? <br>Anytime your selling something, you need to target your market so you're not wasting time and money. With Avon, it is a hard way to make money. It's a pyramid business and unless your getting people to sign up to sell Avon you really don't make any money. The city I live in has an Avon Store so it would be hard to sell when someone can just go buy it and have it right away. Actually, I'm surprised Avon still try these techniques in selling, but ya do have to pay for samples to give out to customers so maybe they figure that's worth something. I tried selling it 20 years ago and didn't find it profitable for all the time spent so I gave it up.</p>
