There is a wide range of equipment that is needed to maintain a farm. Though a tractor is a significant piece of machinery to have for almost all types of farming, there are many other things that are needed as well.

Taking into consideration the type of farming, you might require planting equipment, equipment for soil cultivation, as well as equipment for harvesting. Within each of these categories there is a whole range of machinery, and what you need, depends on what your farm is used essentially for.

For instance, if your farm deals in raising animals, you wouldn’t need any type of machinery for harvesting. On the other hand, if you grow crops in your farm then you would need to invest money in harvesting machinery, and things like pest controllers, fertilizers, etc.

It is well known that crop farming involves its share of hard labour. You would essentially need a tractor which can also be used for towing other farm equipment. Fertilizing your crops using a manure spreader can make your work considerably easier. In contrast to a ‘hand held’ spreader which would take you a rather long time to cover your entire field, the manure spreader could accomplish the same task in much lesser time.

Another vital piece of farm machinery is the machine used for soil cultivation. Again, as compared to cultivating the soil manually, this would help you save a fair amount time as well as energy. Once your crop is ready for harvesting, you can use harvesting machinery, which would also result in a considerable amount of time and effort being saved.

Although there is a fair amount of farm machinery that you can buy, it is imperative that you do sufficient research into what it is that you actually need. This is essentially because different types of farming incorporates the use of different farm machinery.

If you wish to know more about country clothing chichester or garden machinery chichester or if you have any other questions about Farm Machinery, simply log on to our website.

I'm looking for a way to play my Gamecube Pokemon games on the Wii, and, like in past generations, be able to transfer Pokemon into the game from my Game Boy Advance or Nintendo DS games. Is there a way to do that in the Wii generation, or is there a product in the works? Thanks.
Simple...Just put in one of the Cube Pokemon games, hook up the GBA Cable to one of the Cube controller ports on the Wii (look on the top!), and follow the procedure in the game to upload your Pokemans from the GBA to your Cube (of course, you need to plug in a Cube memory card to save them on the game). DS Pokemon games won't work on the Cube Pokemon games however...that's what Pokemon Battle Revolution is for.

Buying furniture online is about as controversial as simply shopping on the Internet. Safety issues, stealing identities, and lack of trust has made it a real issue with a certain percentage of consumers. But for home theater stores, it is almost a necessity due to their unique decor and not all of the population being close to a store carrying it.

Local stores can always order it, but that would be the same as shopping online ourself for its purchase - we would still not be able to see it in person before purchasing, for example, the loungers or the popcorn machine. The ability to shop locally would be the ideal answer, as this particular line is new and most people have not heard of it or seen it before in certain isolated areas of our country. However, can they?

The big question is whether such items of home theater stores are in your local stores. Are they available in the furniture stores, in the mall, outlet-shopping malls, or in a nearby large city? If not, checking online for a particular brand of home theater furniture that is eye-catching may give important information where it could be located.

Some stores will deliver free, but it usually has to be within a certain mileage distance. Otherwise, the delivery fee may be pricey. But for those who are interested enough in this line of entertainment, it will not really matter. That just want it but how safely can it be purchased online?

A big example is the Bose manufacturer. Presently, Bose is in the top two positions for best-selling home theater systems for the general public with their 3-2-1 line, with several styles and types available. If a purchase were to be made directly online with the Bose manufacturer for the #1 positioned home theater system, the 3-2-1TM GS Series II DVD Home Entertainment System, we would find it has a base cost of $999.00 with payments as low as $83.25 per month, credit depending.

Express Shipping delivery can be made within two to three days with standard shipping being made from seven to ten days, with prices varying on locations of delivery. It comes in silver or graphite, and has two visible CinemateTM Gemstone speaker arrays - their smallest most powerful 3-2-1TM speakers - with a hideaway Acoustimass module deliver enhanced high quality sound performance.

There are no center or rear speakers, which mean there is no wiring to the back of the room. Its media center is elegant and progressive, with a progressive scan DVD/CD player with AM/FM tuner with a universal remote control to run it all. The module produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion, and can be placed visibly or tucked away.

When purchasing this product, all the above information came from their website, which completely describes the product. In addition, it warns of current dealers, websites, and online auctions which are currently selling Bose products - but are not Bose dealers. If we buy a Bose product from a Bose dealer, it means a genuine Bose product with full warranties. Otherwise, the product could be use, counterfeit or stolen goods, and sold without serial numbers or they have been altered or defaced.

So, purchasing this Bose product needs to come from a local store or the Bose company itself for the above reasons - the Internet is available to people with different levels of honesty and integrity, so it is wise to be extremely careful purchasing from non-Bose manufacturers.

Mike Singh
http://www.articlesbase.com/electronics-articles/home-theater-stores-should-i-shop-online-or-offline-79849.html

Choosing a home theatre design can be difficult. While the idea of having their own home theatre often brings a smile to a man's face, figuring out how to turn that vague notion into a clear mental picture that can be acted upon is an entirely different matter. What makes things more difficult is that a perfect home theatre system for one house may not work well for another because of the design of the room, the acoustics of the area, the way the sound comes through the speakers, etc.

For some individuals the task becomes so daunting that they choose to hire professionals. It is possible to put together a great home theatre design, but there are a few things to consider in the planning process.

One thing right off the bat is to decide whether or not to use a professional. There is nothing wrong with using a professional, in fact this industry has been booming because these individuals are trained to design a home theatre so that the sound and quality is the most efficient. One prime example of how expertise can help is how the speakers are set up.

Most individuals who set up their system have the speakers integrated near the television, as opposed to actually setting the speakers around the room to play surround sound. Many individuals think they have a nice set up, and then jump half way to the ceiling when they hear surround sound for the first time and that creak behind the character sounds like it's coming from right over your shoulder behind you!

For others the problem with designing a home theatre starts in the beginning during the planning process. One of the most important details that can not be overlooked for a perfect home theatre is making sure to choose the perfect room for it. Maybe you have a furnished basement that works perfectly, or maybe it's too cramped. The living room sounds like a good idea, but how often is a living room designed well for a home theatre?

The room design for your home theater is much more important than many people might think. Looking good is important, but it's not nearly as important as having a system that is tuned in perfectly to blow away company with its awesome sound once the DVDs start playing.

The placement of furniture in the room is important as well. The location of the speakers, television, and even the furniture all add to the home theater experience. Where the speakers should be set up is partially determined by what type of chairs or couches you have, and where they are located in the room, as well. Sure you want comfortable furniture, who doesn't? But make sure they are comfortable and the right size to situate around the room, or else the home theatre you choose will not have its full effect. Designing a home theatre system can be difficult, but if you mind the details and do your homework, the experience will make all the hassles worth the reward.

M. This means that everyone can be online while wandering the house with their laptops, smart phones, and other devices and that cables won't be necessary- which is an incredible convenience! Comcast will also provide a variety of security measures as well. Antivirus software will minimize the chance of an infection, parental control software will minimize the chances of your kids stumbling across something inappropriate, and the option of a firewall can make your home network invisible to hackers!

For real entertainment though, you'll want to take advantage of Comcast's digital cable TV! Comcast's TV service is now even better than ever thanks to the fact that you can choose to go with a bare bones economy programming package, an enormous programming package with nearly three hundred channels, or anything in between! Just as importantly, regardless of which programming package you choose, you'll have access to great features such as the ON DEMAND VOD service, an interactive program guide, multiple digital music channels, all of your local programming, and digital TV transmission for every single channel! You'll also have the options of DVR service and taking advantage of Comcast's HDTV channels! It's a great way to manage TV with today's hectic schedules! HDTV channels provide programming that features a higher resolution picture, wider screen viewing area, and better sound than you can expect with normal TV. HDTV is perfect for a home theater system and a great way to watch everything from sports to movies!

In order to round out the offerings, Comcast also provides Digital Voice home phone service which is packed with features, value, and the ability to save even more money!

Nancy Newton
http://www.articlesbase.com/cable-and-satellite-tv-articles/comcast-makes-family-entertainment-a-priority-649129.html

Recently the "Digital Television Transition and Public Safety Act" was passed. This sets February 17th - 2009, as the "final-cut-off-date" for Over-The-Air Analog TV Broadcasts. That means your 'Rabbit Ears' and the tall antenna on your roof will be useless except for lawn ornaments. To watch any TV presentation that originates outside of your home you will need new hardware. The minimum will be an HDTV with a digital tuner. The tuner can be integrated or external. If there happens to be an HDTV Transmitter close enough to your home, you can buy an HDTV antenna.

HDTV signals are line-of-sight, so if you are on the edge of a broadcast area there are Roof mounted antennas available. This is how the local broadcast network affiliates will transmit, if you still watch them. There will of course be satellite and cable available for the myriad extra entertainment venues they provide.

Some regions may need an HDTV antenna if your cable provider is slow bringing HDTV to your area or if your area has no cable. If you use one of the Satellite providers you should be in luck. They are transitioning to HDTV as we speak. Ain't Competition Great.

HDTV SPECIFICATION
The HDTV specification provides for three different types of HDTV, denoted by the number of lines of resolution and the signal type. They are:

*1080p (1080 lines, progressive scan)
*1080i (1080 lines, interlaced)
*720p (720 pixels, progressive)

Any TV not capable of displaying at least 720 lines is not 'HDTV ready' and any signal with fewer than 720 lines is not an HDTV signal. So, in order to be properly HDTV capable, a TV needs to be able to display at least 1280 pixels horizontally as well as at least 720 vertically.

The 'i' and 'p' in the HDTV specification refer to interlaced and progressive scan. The analog TV we've been watching for years is interlaced. That simply means that each frame of video is split into two fields. Each field contains alternate lines of the signal (one has the odd, the other the even) and is displayed for 1/60th of a second. Because it happens so fast, your brain interprets each frame as a single image. Progressive scan signals have no fields, they simply display each frame in its entirety for 1/30th of a second. This results in a higher quality image, particularly noticeable in fast-action broadcasts such as sporting events,

Once the decision is made as to how you are going to receive HDTV some decisions need to be made about how you will use the system. Your choices in display technology will depend on your most frequent use of the system. Depending on your interests you will want to evaluate different types of displays and/or controls.

Gamers will probably want different display qualities than a Home Theatre Buff, Sports enthusiast or Business users. Business applications such as Power Point & Spreadsheet display well with most consideration being given to the size of the audience. Avid sports viewers will need true high speed performance. I haven't been a Gamer since before Intel's P III, so their concerns will be addressed in another publication.

So what do you prefer?

A front-projection system uses a projector and a separate screen, and it projects images onto the front of that screen. This setup looks most like what you'd find in a movie theater -- the projection unit is completely separate from the screen. The projector can be placed on a table or mounted to the ceiling. The picture looks best when displayed on a high-quality screen, but a specially painted, flat wall will work as well.

Rear-projection systems look more like traditional televisions. They display images on the back of a screen rather than the front, and the projector is completely contained within the television itself. You can also set up a rear-projection system with a projector and a special screen, but the term is most often used to describe self-contained TV sets.

For that theatre experience at home, without the sticky floor and screaming kids, I prefer a front-projection DLP Projector for my Home Theatre Room. In my opinion DLP is best for Home Theatre Video's (DVD Etc. because of higher contrast and deeper black levels, Contrast (3000:1 for DLP, 1000:1 for LCD).

A projector of this type can project on a wall screen up to 120" in size with high contrast and deep black levels. DLP miniprojectors on the market are around 3 pounds. Most LCD projectors are five pounds or more. These differences are being narrowed as technology progresses. For Business applications such as Power Point & Spreadsheet display these are not noticeable concerns.

I'm a Home Theatre Buff so DLP meets my expectations. But there are other technologies with their own pluses and minuses.

Plasma Displays have great resolution and incredible color definition. With a resolution of 1366 x 768 a plasma display can give virtually a 3-D effect. This in combination with exceptional color reproduction can be quite stunning.

Plasma does have some issues though. They can be subject to 'Burn in' and there is a concern with 'Life Cycle'. At the price levels you will find in display technologies a screen that only lasts 20,000 to 25,000 hours before replacement is needed is problematic. This is possible with Plasma although NEC is working on raising their 'life cycles' to 60,000 hours.

LCD's have an average life cycle of 30,000. LCD Screens deliver a very good picture. The LCD was the first display to have 1080 line resolution. LCD is better in bright light conditions. LCD historically delivers better color saturation than you get from a DLP projector although this is a major focus of new research on DLP tech.

Compared to Plasma, LCD has slow reaction time if you are watch presentations focusing on split-second events such as NASCAR and other sports. Contrast, at 1000:1 is not great compared with Plasma & DLP. Full black is hard to achieve with LCD, black is usually a deep Gray. LCD may also be subject to a screendoor effect, at times seeming to show a division between pixels. Also a potential problem with LCD: Long Term Image Degradation. Although this would most likely happen after a comparable Plasma screen may show effects of a burn in or element failure.

There are so many factors to consider and so much information out there that many more articles can be written. So for now further research and choices are up to you.

C R Ellsworth
http://www.articlesbase.com/cable-and-satellite-tv-articles/dlp-lcd-plasma-hdtv-it-will-soon-be-time-to-choose-118866.html

One of the latest trends is the home entertainment centers and the home theaters. They are a great way to get most out of the TV shows and movies that you watch every day. This has become truer than it ever has been before because of the electronic technologies that are available today.

The economic circumstances in which we live are great when viewed with the eyes of the companies in the market of electronics. The technology is better than ever before with Plasma and LCD screens surpassing their prior technical limits to deliver pictures with virtually unnoticeable blurriness on screens of ever increasing sizes.

Technological advances in LCD and Plasma screen TV's are reflected by the fact that the prices are dropping to the point where even incredibly large screen models are affordable to most people with a steady income. To make it even better and bigger, Digital Light Processing (DLP) projectors provide an affordable way to make your home theater seem almost like a commercial theater.

Home Projectors

The projectors of today can project a TV image across a room and onto a pull down screen to create an HDTV screen large enough to be measured in feet. Some of the smaller models will project screen sizes as large as seven feet across and it is normal for many models to produce images fifteen feet across as their max capacity.

Besides all of the TV technologies, you will also find ever improving HDTV accessories in the electronics shops. You can find plenty of Digital Video Recorders on the market that are capable of recording video in high definition as well as standard definition TV formats. You are therefore now able to record the TV shows and movies that you know you'll want to watch again and again. TiVo and many other smaller companies have currently made High Definition DVR's and they are often included on satellite receivers from DirecTV as well as Dish Network.

Wireless Connections

A thing you might want to consider when you are planning your home theater is how to set up the connections between all of the components. This task in itself can be a complete nightmare for any home entertainment enthusiast due to all the connection options but one option you want to consider is using wireless connections to transmit data from one component to another. It won't have the high quality of a wired connection but normal video and audio generally aren't any problem for modern wireless technology to deal with and you will avoid the wire nightmare.

With today's technology available, you have found a good time to set up your home theater system. Whether you are aiming for a complete home cinema solutions or one of the smaller media center solutions I urge you to do your amount of research before you decide to buy or rent a system. First thing you should do is visit some of the many customer review sites as they will give you a fair amount of input that will guide you towards the right solution in terms of quality and price. If you spend a few hours online you can easily save yourself hundreds if not thousands of dollars through discounts and the use of coupons.

After doing your online research visit a few AV center shops to experience the systems live. Test how easy they are to operate and be sure to ask about all the things that enters your mind. It is free of charge and any salesman will be happy to answer you questions in order to get the sale.

Mikael Rieck
http://www.articlesbase.com/art-and-entertainment-articles/home-theaters-entertainment-maximize-the-quality-131758.html

It is no doubt that organizations today have to go to extreme measures to protect themselves from a rapidly changing and an increasingly threatening range of information security risk. An unnoticed information security risk will cause long term problems that will have a bearing on the future of the company’s stature in the market. A risk assessment process that can identify risks to specific information assets will help the organization in making information security investment and control decisions in the future.

Information security will have many wings such as Protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, disruption, disclosure, use or destruction . Risk could be defined as the possibility of a threat agent that takes advantage of the defenselessness and the impact it would have on the business. Trying read, modify or delete important data would be recognised as security risks for a business firm. In order to protect the information assets, information security management processes have been put in place.

In an organization, not all information is equal therefore not all information requires the same degree of protection. An essential feature of information security risk management is to recognize how valuable the information is and apply appropriate procedures and protection requirements for the information.Start with assigning information a security classification by indentifying a member of senior management as the owner of particular information that is to be classified. Develop a classification policy where it describes the different classification labels and define the criteria for information to be assigned a particular label with each classification having a list of required security controls. Some common labels used by businesses today are public sensitive, private and confidential. It is vital that all employees of an organization are trained on the classification and understanding of the required security controls and handling procedures for each classification of information.

Compared to assessing other types of risks, information security and risk can be more difficult because of the costs involved with information security risk factors and the data probability are most often limited as well due to the rapid changes of risk factors. Costs such as the disclosure of sensitive information or the loss of customer confidence are naturally difficult to measure. Even though the costs of hardware and software to build the controls may be estimated, it is impossible to account for the indirect costs such as the possible loss of productivity when new controls are implemented. To obtain better risk management, it is important that the companies get up to dated with the technology involved in information security risk.

All I want is Wii for a seven-yer-old boy, but the options on-line are many. esides the console I assume I need to wavy sticks so he can play w/a friend. What do I look for in order to buy a basic Wii appropriate to a seven_year-old? Thank you for your help Harry Gams
Other than the basic console. which comes with one controller, an extra controller is almost a must, and I find that a total of three controllers (two extras along with the one with the console) works out nicely...especially when friends come over to play. A Classic Controller comes in handy for some of the games; only one is really needed there, even for multi-player games. Games in the Mario Brothers or Donkey Kong universe would be probably approriate for even the younger players (appropriate is up to what the child's parents dictate). (I personally would like to try out Guitar Hero, but that is rated 'T' for teen and not really for the younger kids...I am old enough to play it though...by many years over the rated age). If you just happen to have a wireless router for your Internet connection, the Wii has a wireless capability to access an Internet connection and there are a lot of classic games and other add-ons (even free ones) available through this access (it even has its own web browser...a bit limited, but it works okay).

In today's hurried world, most people don't have the time or money to waste taking the entire family to the movies (up to $50 to $60 per shot) so why not build out a Home Theater in your garage, basement, or spare bedroom? The construction and soundproofing of a Home Theater is much the same as building a soundproof music studio in your home. The only major difference is that with a Home Theater, you are less concerned with sound coming into the Theater than you would be if you were doing recording or voice-overs.

The most effective method for building your Home Theater is to actually construct a room within a room. Basically this means framing out new walls within the existing room. This is a lot simpler than it sounds. If you possess tool skills and are better with them than "Tim Taylor" on "Tool Time", then you most likely are qualified to undertake this project. You will want to frame out new walls within the existing room, this is pretty easy in a basement situation, where at least 2 of the walls are most likely poured concrete or concrete block, and are generally Earthen backed. They need no soundproofing whatsoever.

By framing out the room within a room, you are taking all of the negatives in the room that were working against your soundproofing endeavor, and now making them more friendly in the form of "dead air space". Dead air space (if it is sealed) is good soundproofer in itself, but you will still need a little more soundproofing horsepower if you plan to watch Star Wars or The Matrix (cranked up) in your new Home Theater. Once the new walls are framed out, it is time to soundproof. We have found that good batt insulation such as Roxul AFB or Roxul Safe which are very effective when placed in the stud or joist cavities. If you are unable to find the Roxul products, then use a good quality rock wool or mineral wool to fill the cavities. The next step would be to adhere a layer of American Mass Loaded Vinyl directly to the stud structure. Attaching the MLV directly to the studs or joists allows the vinyl to resonate or move with the sound.

If the MLV is able to resonate, it will work to it's full potential and will give you the sound blocking required for a well-soundproofed theater. The MLV will be stapled (industrial air drive stapler) or nailed (using roofing nails with the large plastic heads) to the studs or joists. If you are able to over lap the seams that would be better, however, if that is not possible, you will want to butt the seams together tightly and caulk both the butted seams as well as the entire perimeter of the newly installed MLV. You want the MLV to act as a soundproof membrane on your walls and ceilings. Caulking and taping the seams is essential for to seal the MLV membrane. The caulked seams will also need to be taped with a quality MLV sealer tape before installing the new drywall. I recommend installing 2 layers of ½" drywall for all of the walls as well as the ceiling. Now if this becomes too costly then a single layer of 5/8" fire code drywall will be sufficient. This should complete the soundproofing portion of your home theater.

Finally, if you are installing 2 layers of drywall to your home theater walls, it is highly recommended that you apply at least 2 tubes of the Green Glue damping compound to the second layer of drywall. Simply lay out the second layer of drywall on saw horses and apply 2 tubes of the Green Glue to the back of the drywall and then simply screw in your new layer of drywall to the existing drywall with the Green Glue sandwiched in between. The Green Glue will dampen both layers of drywall and will also stop the sound of the home theater from flanking onto the walls. Once this is complete, you with then need to acoustically treat the room to give it the look and the acoustical properties of a real theater. We will discuss this in our next article.

Random Writers
http://www.articlesbase.com/home-improvement-articles/soundproofing-a-home-theater-67223.html

If you haven't been to a haunted house in Denver, than this year you have to go to 13th floor in Denver!

Time to turn an area of your home into an entertainment area? Tune up your house with a home theater by following these basic steps.

1. Determine where you would like your system set up: in a family room, an entire basement level or only one section, etc. Grab a pencil and some graph (or other) paper and get to work with a blueprint. Don't leave this to "notions" or things get messed up - and quickly. Pencil in (a) your focal point - usually a television or other huge screen or home theater personal computer (HTPC) (b) seating© other main screens - projector and table / speakers and amps / computer / gaming consoles / DVD player, cable box and VCR (d) storage - shelves / remote and guide organizer (e) misc. - do leave some empty space. Cramped quarters are no fun!

2. Next, research your family needs. A home theater can incorporate: video game playing with any of the popular console systems like from Xbox, Nintendo or Playstation; it can feature a computer, DVD player and other recording and playing devices. Plus it can feature fancy audio equipment with multiple speakers. Add seating, lighting and screens into the mix. And plan ahead, too, looking to the future a little to prepare for the unexpected and for growth. For example, add extra outlets (for phone hook ups / computers / power supplies / cell phone, battery and other chargers, etc and leave extra space for the unexpected - extra shelves, equipment add-ons, storage for DVDs, CDs and remotes, etc. Grab your blueprint from above and pencil in your ideas.

3. Then comes set up time! Begin with your focal point and consider that your projector can reach to adjust distance from the screen for maximum effect. Test equipment at this stage before adding everything else into the area to make sure you get the results you like. After visuals, add audio into the mix. Set up your surround sound amp with plenty of video and audio inputs for all your fun systems. Then add the speakers and test again.

4. Then arrange other items (if you have a media center computer, many of these may already be part of the system): VCR, DVD player, gaming console and other equipment. Then round out everything with seating, lighting, shelves, storage organizers, etc.

Party time! Invite your family, friends and neighbors over to enjoy and celebration. Have fun!

Hyun Kim
http://www.articlesbase.com/advertising-articles/home-theater-setup-basics-69006.html

I recently bought one as a christmas present and thought i'd check if it was all there. It was meant to have wii sports included but it was not in the package. I have sent them msgs to which they replied saying that it was in the console.I tried ejecting it but it wasn't in it.The information about the games wasn't there either,When I turned it on it said to insert disc. Has anyone experienced this? What should I do?
I would not have purchased a bundle from some unknown company in the first place. You should have stuck with a known retailer, like Wal-Mart or Best Buy. What I would do is call Nintendo. Tell them you purchased a Wii, give them the serial number if they ask, and tell them you did not receive the Wii Sports game. Chances are that they will take your word for it and ship one out to you.

Sanction @ Chevron, Mega Bar, Pleasuredome & Skin @ Dome. In this excerpt Jake explains the glitz & glamour that saw Skin becoming an institution, the likes of which has never been seen since.
Duration : 5 min 55 sec

[veoh v18676602z7Py4yhg]

What impact have game consoles had on teenagers. Are teenagers losing their Real life while playing? Are people playing games because they want to, do they have nothing else to do, or are to addicted to do anything else such as read a book? Is playing Gaming consoles as bad for the Health as thought?
They make us want to play more and make us even more lazy. I get brainwashed and I cant stop playing games.

Having a custom home theater of our very own is an absolute thrill, while being able to say, "It's exactly as I wanted it - and I put it together myself!" If planning the installation of a home theater is in the making, considering the custom designed options that are available, is definitely something that should be looked into.

There are several systems on the market and many of them will provide us with a wide range of possibilities to put together for our personalized theater system, fitting the specific needs and desires that we want. Many of the leading manufacturers of home theaters, such as Sony, Bose, and Panasonic, will offer the home theater options that can be customized.

Design our own home theater- don't spend more than what we need to; get the theater system that is perfect for our specific room and desires, not one that only has half of what we want; and don't spend twice as much money to buy it.

Surround sound goes clear back to Walt Disney in the 1940s, when he incorporated his surround sound technology to "hold the audience" in both visual and audio sensations. The value of having such a customized product is that we can select this same type of quality, the features that will fit us the best, and how we will be able to get the products that we need rather than those that we have to buy with an already complete system.

It makes sense to consider a custom-designed product but before we do, let us evaluate where it will be located. The best thing is to have someone who knows what they are doing come in and evaluate, somebody knowledgeable in the field to access where we are thinking of placing it. Notes need to be taken of good and bad points, in addition to have options suggested for the system's maximum benefit and ease of use.

Some things the professional may bring up are about the size of the room where the theater system will be located at, and where the audience will sit in relation to the theater screen. Also, he may evaluate the acoustical properties of the room and any surrounding light issues that could affect the type of video display system to be used.

And what about the speakers? What would be the most effective - in wall or stand-alone? Once all of these questions are answered, it needs to be decided whether the components will be located, and checking the room ventilitation for both the components and the viewers.

A solid investment into our home is something open to many positive options. We may find that the home theater system that is already out there is just right for our needs with very little planning but we may also find that the one that is out there is far too big for our home theater needs. Going with a custom designed product puts us in the position to select the very best product for our needs within our budget.

Mike Singh
http://www.articlesbase.com/art-and-entertainment-articles/custom-home-theaters-should-i-even-consider-a-custom-home-theatre-79467.html
